Hello everyone, I'm a new mom to 3 birds and I was wondering what I need to provide my babies with while I'm at work. I thought of the radio but I'm not 100% sure if that is such a great idea.

Foraging! I offer lots and lots of foraging devices for my guys. An in-shell almond wrapped in paper is a favourite, stuffed vineballs with pellets, millet, etc. I also love these foraging toys: www.parrottreasure.com

Good quality artificial light as well as natural (putting the cages in front of an open window will allow them to look at the people and other animals outside). Lots of chewing material (cardboard, rolled up unread magazines or catalogs, small branches, pieces of hard or soft wood (depends on the species), dried yucca, etc). The radio on is also a good idea.

Thank you all for the great ideas. I've been putting on the radio and I have bought some foraging toys They are a lot happier now, especially when I get home from work.
