Hi my name is Leanne and I have a senegals parrot, called Larry coz the pet shop guy said it was a boy. But this morning before going to work. My parrot laid an egg. I've had her 6 months! Help plz.

I don't mean to be dense but what is it exactly that you want us to help you with? I mean, she already laid the egg so there is no medical or behavioral problem except the fact that her endocrine system is out of sync with the seasons (they lay in Spring and not smack in the middle of Autumn) most likely due to the fact that you have not kept her to a strict solar schedule. Aside from tweaking that and watching how much protein you are feeding her (the intake should always be lowered during the resting season -after molt), my only other suggestion would be for you look for a female name that sounds like Larry. But if you have a specific doubt or concern, please let us know what it is and we will try to help.
