my parrot laid egg i have question answer please :)

Well, my perrot (cockatiel) laid egg without contact male she did that at the shelf and when she tryed to fly broke her egg. i read somewhere that she will lay more egg but without male it cant hatch babies so if i'll buy male perrot now, will egg hatch or not.
P.S i dont know exactly if she will lay more egg, will she?

The eggs need to be fertilized to produce babies but having a male and a female together and even them having sex does not guarantee the eggs will be fertile or that the babies will hatch or that the babies will survive (parents kill the babies or leave them to die when conditions are not right).
