Hello from FL.

Hello, my name is Tikki and I'm a female Red-breasted (mustached) Parakeet. My pet humans adopted me from a local parrot rescue. I believe I'm between 18 months and 3 years old as I just developed my salmon colored chest about 6 months ago.
I love riding around on my humans shoulder and putting my beak on any and everything that I can. I am trying to talk but right now I think I just sound like the school teacher from Charlie Brown. My humans set me up with a nice home with toys and perches and even a climbing rope. I even have a nice comfortable bed to sleep in.

I hope to learn a lot about myself while here.

LOL - Yes, a lot of them sound like Charlie Brown's teacher when they are first beginning to talk -I have one that sounds just like her when she gets mad and mumbles to herself. Beautiful bird and thank you so much for adopting instead of buying!
