New and looking for advice for finding a rescue bird

Hello
I'm new to this forum. I've been reading through past posts and have already learned a lot, so I'm very glad I found it. I have experience with birds (corvids), have done a lot of research, and I would love to adopt either an African grey or an eclectus parrot. I was hoping to find a rescue bird that I could help instead of getting a youngster from a breeder. I would love to care for a special needs bird. I haven't managed to find one though (in Washington State or nearby states). Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look?

Have you asked any avian vets in the area? They might know. Also, how did you come by a rook and jackdaw in the States? Not sure how they would get along with a parrot...but then I know very little about psitticine/corvid interaction.

Yes the rook and jackdaw are european birds - i'm working at a wildlife rehab centre, and decided to adopt
them because they were non releasable

I suspect psittacines and corvids don't get along, i'm not planning to put a parrot together with the corvids!
