I am new to the forum. I have some experience with parrots, took a class about parrot care. In addition, I had 2 Cockatiels before.
Two years ago I adopted a peach face Lovebird, Candy. Last August I adopted a Quaker, Louie.
Candy is seven years old, Louie is eleven years old. They are both rescues with behavior problems. They are improving slowly with a lot of patience. Louie had to learn to fly. They are amazing.
The book by Michael Sazhin is very helpful. I highly recommend it.
