Hi Everyone,
I live in Chicago, Illinois and let me tell you this snow and blizzard temperatures are getting to me.
Anyways now that I've vented I am owned by six parrots consisting of: Cuddles a Sun Conure, Three Parrotlets-Blue, Sky and their son Star who are taking awhile to get bonded with any help would be appreciated with these feisty, challenging birds. And last but not least my two boys Patches and Pepper peach faced lovebirds.

I also have two dogs, one Dachshund named Penny, and one not so common Manchester Terrier named Jessie who has issues many if you own one you will know.

I belong to at least four other parrot groups so I may know some of you.
Please introduce yourselves I love to talk with bird people they are after all the best!

Welcome! And don't you dare say anything about Manchester terriers, I love them! They are super smart, very eager to please (and thus, to train), and incredibly dedicated and loyal to their humans and soooooo very beautiful! They are one of my favorite breeds (we had a couple at the rescue and I fostered them).

My jaw dropped open when you said what you did about Manchesters. My Jessie will be 10 this summer she has serious problems, with territorial rights. She is very aggressive. she hides under her blankets. If she is on the couch and anyone approaches she gets aggressive, growls and gets into attack mode, the same with her bed. she is not loyal to anyone in our family and I've had her since she was a pup. she has never been mistreated in anyway I just figured it was the breed. I've never seen a dog act like her. But I'm happy to know that others are normal.
