Their names are Mango and Kiwi, ( I am sure you can associate names with birds
). Kiwi is 1 year old and Mango is 1 and a half years old.
Kiwi is the being of mischief but is very sweet and you cannot help forgiving her right away. She loves everyone but especially loves my dad. She loves to dance and bob her head and will occasionally lay on her back in our hands.
Mango is sweet little guy who is a bit shy. He is very protective of Kiwi and does not like her out of his sight. He is quite attached to me but unfortunately only tolerates everyone else and will not let my dad hold him. He will not let you pet him, something we are trying to remedy but does not really bite, unlike Kiwi. They are both learning clicker training and doing pretty well.
I am 14 and love, love, love animals!!! I have been wanting birds for a time so they are a wish come true. I can't wait to gain their complete trust so any way you can help with any of the above or any recommendations you have are very much appreciated. I am so eager to learn from you all!

. They have had 2 previous homes so they both have their quirks, but they very quickly adapted to our family so now the big focus is training them. We have had a Quaker Parrot but had to give him away when we moved so we have had some experience with birds. I can't wait to learn from you all as I build my relationship with these birds!
