A Swede with her head in the blue, and a Blue-headed Pionus

Postby Elaihr » Fri Mar 14, 2014 4:05 am

Hello everyone,

I am new to these forums, so I thought perhaps I should introduce myself, and my bird. My name is Sara, I'm 24 years old and I live together with my boyfriend, in the southeast of a cold country called Sweden (it really isn't that cold, just... It's not as warm and sunny as I'd like it to be). I spend my time with my camera, paints, brushes and canvas (if you're interested you can have a look at my artwork at http://elaihr.deviantart.com), and I've also always loved the company of animals, especially birds. I've had both Lovebirds and budgies since I was little, although those are no longer with us. Today I am a proud owner of a beautiful Blue-headed Pionus named Penny, whom I bought from a woman whose husband had fallen very ill. I haven't had Penny for very long, although she's adapting well and seems to be happy in her new home :) I'm looking forward to all the adventures we've got ahead of us!

Thank you for letting me join these forums, I'm looking forward to sharing and reading about our feathered friends :)
