Greetings! My family and I just recently got a new pet!! She is second hand and three years old. So far so good even though we have never owned a parrot before. I've been looking at and researching parrots for around three years now, so this wasn't a hasty decision. I look forward to being a part of this community. I'm certaintly going to have some questions! Hopefully I will be able to repay the future community and current community with all that I learn from my new companion!

Welcome to the forum! My very first rescue, back in 1992, was a red-lored female and I had her for many years until I had to put her down (she had bone cancer in both legs) so I have a very soft spot for them.
