Hello from Canada

Postby Olivia Bird » Sat Mar 29, 2014 8:33 am

Greetings,

I'm a work from home entrepreneur and part time animal science student who lives with adopted eclectus, budgies and a cockatiel. My budgie flock is a mix of parent raised birds including an active breeding pair, an 'up and coming' pair and two chicks from previous clutches that I have co-parented and kept. I grew up working in 'exotic pets' and have looked after and hand fed a great variety of small and large parrots. After leaving that world, for moral and sanity reasons, I worked for several years in an aviary that was a mix of rare breeding birds, and rescues that were used for educational programs. I started adopting my current birds after I stopped working in birds professionally and therefore actually had time to keep them my own :)

I'm pro flight, pro clicker training and pro co-parenting. I'm also pro keeping birds with other birds where possible.

Good for you and your parrots! Personally, if you didn't breed, I would find you perfect.
