Hello!

Postby LisaB » Mon Apr 07, 2014 11:26 pm

Hi All!

I've been a visitor to Michael's site for quite some time and finally decided to join the forum. My family and I have shared our lives with parrots for 15 years now. Most of our guys are rehomes, though a few we've gotten as babies.

I volunteer for MDPR, a parrot rescue group here in Colorado. We work mostly with the local shelters, though we offer assistance to elderly people who can no longer care for their parrots, as well as other emergency situations.

As you can see, my family has quite a crew! However, we are very committed to each of them. They get the best of everything--medical care, food, enrichment and lots and lots of love! Our birds are hilarious and they remind us every day what's really important in life: love, laughter and the occasional french fry!
