I am an artist and I currently live in Shanghai.
I'm from Brazil and I love animals.
I always had a pet, but since I moved to Shanghai I felt very lonely and I was thinking about adopting a dog. But my boss wanted to get rid of his male cockatiel cause he wasn't fond of him. It was supposed to be the companion of his first female cockatiel and they ended up fighting a lot and abandoned in a cage...
I never had a pet bird, so I decide to research a lot about it and see how viable was it.
Got many tips from Michael's channel and researched a lot parrot behavior.
I adopted him and ever since he became a wonderful pet. From a loud, bitting, wild cockatiel, he is now my best friend here and loves rubbing in his cheek.
I had previous learning from a wildlife rehabilitation where I used to be volunteer, and we used to receive many parrots and macaws from smuggling and owners abandoning them there.
Everyday with my cockatiel is a new lesson and is being fun so far.
I hope I can learn even more around here!
