Great news! I am glad that things are looking up. Keep watching for his reactions when you are approaching his cage and don't move closer if he starts to move away, but keep trying to get closer until you are right there at the cage. It shouldn't take too much more time as he is starting to show some trust in you, Just don't get in a hurry and keep doing what you are doing.

Be careful with spinach. I don't ever feed it to my birds because it's too high in oxalic acid which inhibits calcium absorption. Try organic kale, regular broccoli and organic romaine lettuce instead. Also, why don't you try cooking some whole grains for him?
