Hello, I am new to this forum and I have an Alexandrine female for three years. I live in an apartment but there are plenty of ring necks outside. My girl mostly responds to them in the morning and in the evening. When she wants attention she also calls. Sometimes more than others. Give your Alex plenty of fresh food and try and toilet roll on the bottom of the cage. If she really needs a little of your attention talk to her or let her step up to your shoulder for a while. I leave music on for her when I go to work and always open up her cage and say hello the minute I come home. They are placid, gentle and undemanding but when she wants a bit of attention she will let you know.
They are the most beautiful creatures on G-ds Earth.
