A young CAG
I've had Charlie for 9 years or so now, she is lovely ( in my eyes ) a tad grouchy to the rest although she has learned to like my husband and goes very well to my youngest daughter. She is flighted and when out follows me around the house. She loves 'talking' to the toilet and hates black garbage bags (not sure why on both accounts). She does not talk but makes what sounds like talking noises (mostly to the toilet). She is highly motivated by food and loves to steal things off the plate or out of the bowl.
Our CAG is 6 months old and is a charmer, he is bonded to both of us quite well and goes to everyone in the family. He has a 'jungle gym' in the living room and watches for the kids to arrive home from school and can spot his humans amongst the others walking down the street. He has a special whistle for his 'flock' or if he wants something from us. He is semi-flighted and at this point considering his age and that he's still learning I think it's the best for now, it might change in future. He isn't motivated by food at all ... although he is always curious to see what we have and will taste things to see what they are. He is talking up a storm already and as we've learned you have to be somewhat careful what he hears as he can pick things up very easily
I look forward to meeting other 'crazy' bird people (as my daughter calls me)
