Hi from a future parrot owner

Postby LittleMissPetPerson » Sun Jun 15, 2014 1:23 pm

Hi!! I'm LittleMissPetPerson! I'm a young teen eager to get into parrots! I'm still doing my research and I currently don't have a parrot. My parents had many cockatiels and a mytrid conure before I was born. I haven't owned a bird besides chickens, pheasants and peacocks. I'm fascinated by their intelligence and beauty! I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 1 fish, 1 bunny, lots of chickens and 2 horses so I have a very full household so I probably won't get a parrot for a while yet. So that's a little bit about me!

Have a wonderful day!

Welcome, LittleMissPetPerson!

It's good to hear you are doing research. As we often tell people who come hear to learn, the best place for first hand experience is to volunteer at a local parrot rescue, if possible. That gives you a better idea as to which bird you like, and can end with you and a rescue bird choosing each other as long-term companions. Good luck!
