Hello from Washington

Postby moderndaydinosaurs » Sat Jul 05, 2014 9:57 pm

Hi everyone. New here from just north of Seattle, Washington. My husband and I are the proud parents of an African grey named Echo, a caique named Talula, two green cheeked conures named Chili and Pepper, two lovebirds named Masque and Karrin, and a Cape parrot named Sue.

Our flock's grown gradually over the past ten years although we're just about done after our newest addition, Sue (the Cape), who's only 3 months old and not even done hand-feeding so just living at the breeder until we can bring her home sometime in August. We get to visit a lot though. So much in fact that we're falling in love with her sister as well and may end up with 2 Capes at the end of this if things keep going like they're going.

Anyway, glad to be on here and looking forward to talking birds with everyone!

Yes. It sure is. I honestly don't know how I ended up with so many birds. I love them, though. And they seem to do each other good.

Well if this works it will be a pic of my grey, a pic of my caique, and a pic of my Cape. Or it will be a bunch of text. :D That's the best I can do from my smartphone at work!

Weird. They are half cut off. Still better than nothing I guess. Oh well.

They are adorable! (My browser gave me a miniature of the whole picture when I clicked on it and tried to drag it) I'm surprised your caique hasn't tried to start a game with the raccoons. They seem the perfect size!

Beautiful birds!

They are half cut off because they are wider than 500px, which is the limit on the forums. Resizing, or using an image of that width will help when posting photos to the forums!
