Hi y'all! I'm from Bandera, Texas

Postby Pattih » Thu Jul 31, 2014 9:47 am

I just recently acquired a 4 year old yellow indian ringneck and his little buddy the budgie. I love birds and I'd like my ringneck, Scoobey to be a huge part of our family. I hoping this will be the place to guide me

Welcome! I'm new, too. I noticed you're from Bandera! I'm in San Antonio. It's nice to know there are some fellow bird-lovers close by! (:

I am so in love with Ringnecks. I was thiiiiiiis close to getting one. Haha.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I made a huge step a minute ago, Scoobey flew and landed on the floor. I was able to give him my hand, he stepped up with no problem. I'm so excited!

Wolf, his little buddy is named Santina, I've shortened it to "Santy".

Well, birds always step up without a problem when they are on the floor because it's where they are the most vulnerable - but it doesn't mean he will step up from a perch placed higher so work you way toward this and don't assume it will just happen.
