Hello from Dubai!

Hello everyone,

Nice to be finally here, not sure why it took me this long to register - I've been following Michael's work for years and always checking this forum, the other sites and the Yt channel. You've all been very helpful so thank you a lot. Anyway better late than never.

So I live in Dubai (and I am not 14 years old ). I am here representing myself and my only current full time parrot for the time being Yasmina! My lovely CAG.

The category (aviculture) is extremely undermined here, so if you are an enthusiast and you live here please dont hesitate to give me a shout. Lets work together towards the welfare of the category, the birds, and their owners!

Well Mazen,
I really don't know other than what I have read on the internet. I never met a Hahn myself. Lady and I are in the re-bonding stage due to me having been unavailable to be with her for sometime. I have been having the complete front of her cage open and just spending time with her hoping and encouraging the bond we once started. Things seem to going well most days and just this week she came out of her cage, on to the bed and bowed her head against my legs. I was so excited it was hard to remain composed. I did tell her in a most excited voice what a nice thing for her to do. Then she allowed me to pet her head. She even stepped onto my arm and proceeded to climb right up onto my shoulder. I allowed her to stay for a minute or two and even walked a bit with her there. Then I went back to her cage and let her climb back on to the play gym it has at the top. We spend two full days together with her being mostly the center of my day. The rest of the week we share short visits mostly feeding time then the evening draws near.
