Hi all; My name is Bruce and I currently have a budgie(my wife's!)a cockatiel and a Blue and Gold Macaw. I have raised alot of birds-lovebirds,cockatiels,budgies and lots of farm poultry-turkeys, chickens, ducks, peacocks, ring necked pheasants and doves and one wounded crow! Other farm animals as well- rabbits, horses, dogs, cats. I had a wild caught Mollucan Cockatoo many years ago as well. I wish I had known then what I know now! I have scars from that bird! Narrowed it down now to the three first mentioned birds and life is much simpler!

Welcome to the forum. Yes, captive-bred are definitely easier than wild-caught! But, if you want an even easier life, get the budgie and the tiel mates.
