I'm 15 from Honolulu Hawaii. Currently I own two budgies who are two years old, they aren't hand tamed and are fully flighted. I used to have a lovebird named Izzy who was killed by our Boston Terrier this year; she was stealthy and extremely efficient at running, while I had to go into the kitchen she made a dash for down stairs to where are dogs were eating in their crate and our Boston escaped and attacked her. I miss her a lot, she was extremely smart and brave. The same day I taught her how to spin around.
I've come here to learn more about Senegals and or Meyers specifically since I'm planning on getting one by next year hopefully (I need to find a breeder), until then I'll be researching and collecting enough money for every essential thing and anything else (my goal: at least $680).
And maybe along the way this year I might plan to get a Cockatiel or Lovebird, but it will be extremely hard replacing Izzy. Plus, school is starting pretty soon so I'll have to see how much I'll be able to handle. I'm in no rush getting a bird, right now I have some personal things that need to be taken care of.
Anyways, I'm glad I joined this forum and I can't wait to continue my research and try help out in this community! WOO
