I could not agree more, wolf!
That is why i thought it was unnecessary

Now lily gives my mother the cold shoulder.

Well, there you have it! She is not been vindictive, she is been smart and letting the person who forced her to do something she did not want (and been put in a carrier when they don't want to, it's a very traumatic experience for them) that she better keeps her distance or else. Be careful not to make her aggressive by doing wrong things over and over. You don't want her to get into the habit of biting just to protect herself.

Hi I am sorry for not popularly introducing myself My User Name Is Paco I Am From Shellsburg, Ia. Paco Is Our 5 year old Blue & Gold Macaw & Kota Is Our 15 year old Lilac Crested Amazon. We have Had Paco For A little Over 2 weeks. :macaw:
I recently Purchased Michael Sazhin The Parrot Wizard's Guide To Well Behaved Parrots! I was truly hoping for a miracle to come jumping out of the book! lol!
Recently I was Talking About Screaming Problems With Paco & Regurgitating All The Time! I have used some of the advice I have gotten and used some ways in Michael Sazhin's Book!
Well Just To No Avail Can We Get Paco To Stop Screaming! We have unexpected guess come over and for 3 days or more he has been screaming even more now! Stlll regurgitating all over and petting himself.
So, I decided to call back his last owners who we purchased him from and try to grt some more information to help Paco with. When I tried to call them back with the phone # they had when they sold him to us, it was disconnected! So I have the woman on face book and I messaged her! This is what I wrote To Her:
Hi, I have a couple of questions to ask you and maybe more later! I sure hope you do not mind? How Long Has Paco Been Regurgitating and having screaming behavioral issues? Also He Is Always Saying Pablo Who Is This To Him/ What Dog is He Whistling To Come Here? Just Want To Help Him In Every Way! What Kind Of Life Did He Have When He Was With His Male Companion Alone & Then At Your House. What Things seemed To Upset Him The Most? What Was His Favorite Food? Thank You Sorry To Bother You With All This!
This Is What She said:
He has regurgitated since Scott got him...trying to feed Scott he had a mate before Scott got him n his mate was being mean to him he has always screamed he is probably saying paco n I'm not sure on which dog...I have no idea what kind of life before he came here...His Owner Before said he was the only one to take care of him....here everyone talked to him gave him treats he likes peanuts crackers pizza crusts....the kids running around seemed to upset him...not getting the attention he thought he needed...he would scream to get out,
So I Wrote This Back:Thank You For The Info Greatly Appreciated!
Even When He Is Out He Screams and he gets lots of attention and he still screams! He will lash Out At You One Minute, Then Be Happy To See You!
Whats happening there has to be no way Paco has been regurgitating for 3 straight years? HELP Please!

Have you made any progress on changing him over to a lower protein diet? Have you placed him on a solar light schedule yet?
I am sorry, but there is no easy or quick fix for these problems. It took a long time to create these problems and I know that it is not your fault but you are the one that has him and so you unfortunately are the one other than the bird who is suffering because of this. There are only three things that are going to help your bird other than you giving adequate attention to him. These three things are a solar light schedule, a healthy diet, and exercise in the form of flying.
