Greetings from Denmark

Postby Semantic » Tue Oct 14, 2014 3:46 am

Hello everyone on the forum!

My name is Christian, and as the title says I am from Denmark. I live with my girlfriend and our newly acquired budgies, Milo and Morgan. We got them from a small scale breeder, and they were quite hand tame with her. They were ofcourse a bit scared when they first arrived, and they are still a bit cautious. However, they are slowly warming up. There has definitely been progress in the short amount of time that we have had them, and they are both able and willing to take millet from us - both millet sprays and individual seeds between the fingers.

My girlfriend and I - and our birds - look forward to being a part of this forum. :)

Sincerely

Christian

Welcome to the forum, Christian, Milo, Morgan and girlfriend. Glad to have you here. Are Milo and Morgan both boys or a boy and a girl?

Hello Pajarita! Milo and Morgan are both boys, actually they are clutch brothers. Morgan is from the 30th of August this year, and Milo is from the 31st. They have had a really close bond from the get go, so the breeder wanted to have them end up together and as my girlfriend and I wanted two, it seemed like the logical thing to do. Also, it's clear to see that if one dares to tocuh or climb up on our hands, it's not long before the other musters up the courage to try as well. Monkey see, monkey do, I guess applies here. :)

Yes, we (birdpeople) actually say "Parrot see, parrot does' all the time. Kudos to you for taking both of them! Little birds suffer more than the large species when they don't have a bird companion and clutch brothers that were raised together and already like each other will do just great so thank you for thinking of them first!
