Pajarita, I always thought that of Cockatiels too. They always called the new one in. Except now with poor Maggie.

Yes, I do too. Tiels are VERY flock-oriented and always happy to get a new member.

It is a shame that you are in Boston. There are 6 in Wake County Animal Shelter about to be put down.
You know, they send cats and dogs between shelter to give them another chance. I wonder if they would send them north.

I am not in Boston, I am in Northeast New Jersey (the Oranges to be more exact) and I would not mind driving a few hours to pick them up but this place is much farther than a few hours... Isn't there a bird rescue that would take them? It's has become hard to get rescues to take the little ones... there are so many of them that are given up all the time.
