my new sun conure

Hi. I am the proud momma of a 26 year old double yellow head and a sun conure that I just got last week. They think my sun conure is appx 8 mos old. Since getting him home I've noticed that he seems to be displaying more baby bird behavior. Bobbing is head, fluttering his feathers, wanting to be cuddled and held, etc. Is this normal or should I be worried?

He is still a baby, so more baby behavior should be expected from him. Glad to have you along, looking forward to pics of your birds as well as stories about them.

Welcome to the forum. He might be regressing a bit and need some soft food or a handfeeding once a day. Nothing to worry about, this is common in young birds when they go to a new home.
