Hello From Texas

Postby Vsinger12 » Mon Nov 24, 2014 2:23 am

Hey all,

I am a new parrot owner of a gorgeous blue and yellow macaw. He is 16 months old and quite tame. He loves to have head scratches and we are working on the step up training. Even though he has only been here for two days he wants to learn. I am so excited to handle him when I wake up and work with him. I am very excited to join this forum and read read read!

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your friend! Asking a baby to step up is not really training because it's something they do quite willingly -and even when you might not be willing (I have a cockatoo that, literally, jumps me when I walk by  ) so don't worry about it been too early, it's fine.
