Hi from Ontario! Need some advise!

I have 2 alexandrines, both male, one 4 and one 8. I bought them from the same owner about a year ago and just recently the younger one keeps trying to step on the older one and I have no idea why he's doing this. Is he trying to mate with him or something? I separate them and they screech when there apart... Little help or advise would be appreciated! Thanks

Yes, your bird is overly hormonal and that's due to a human light schedule and a diet too high in protein so you need to re-evaluate your husbandry.
