Hi there!

Postby OmegaSlyMew » Wed Jan 14, 2015 2:19 pm

Hello there, I'm new here. I only have the one Parrot, he is a Jenday Conure named Jet-Star. :) He's a Parent Raised Aviary parrot who I found in a pet store. He was in a cage just about big enough for 4 Canary's, had 2 white perches, seed all over the floor, no toys and green water. I've had him since October 30th :) He's my first ever birdy and I love him <3 :jenday:

Welcome to the forum! I am glad that you got him out of the pet store, most of the ones that I have seen are not much better, they are horrible places.
What are you feeding him now? How is the taming and bonding process coming along? How big is his cage and how much time does he get out of the cage daily? Why don't you just tell me all about him, that would be easier than my asking a lot of questions. Pictures would be like icing on the cake.

Welcome, Omega and Jet-star! Real good of you to get a parent-raised bird and your first, at that! They are not anywhere as easy as a handfed bird but they are psychologically better-adjusted and, most likely, healthier than them.
