Hello-newbie here

Just got my first parrot. He/She is a Sun Conure named Ogi (ohgee) and is awesome! He (have no idea if boy/girl..I think a girl but hard to tell) is 3 months old and I have had him for 2 weeks..so far so good! I've had parakeets before but Ogi is on a whole different level as far as interaction and care. I research alot and get alot of conflicting info so when i stumbled upon the Parrot Wizard I was thankful.

effigy (like oh gee), was thinking of names and liked the orange on him and then it kinda went from there and i thought 2 syllables would be easier to teach him when it was time lol

Welcome to the forum! My experience was also mainly with parakeets (and one cockatiel), and Fajr kept me on my toes for the first few months! Now, about 10 months later, we can read his body language easily and have settled into our rhythm! I hope your journey with your sun conure continues smoothly!
