Fold a piece of typing paper lengthwise then fold it in the middle. Poke it through the cage so that the last fold holds it in place. It is clean and they just can't resist it.

These behaviors all sound pretty normal to me, I don't have a Jenday and the closest that I do have is a Senegal, But some behaviors are pretty much the same regardless of the species of parrot.
Are you saying that she is biting your husband whether you are in the room or not and that it then gets worse when you enter the room? This is not clear to me in your latest post, help!

Thanks Liz will give that a go!

Wolf, She bites hubby whenever I go into the same room as him. If he's with Fifi on his own she seems ok just a little nibble here and there which we can handle. I want to be able to have her out as much as she wants to be out but can't risk having her out just so that she can fly form me or her cage to bite him

In your first post it sounded as if the bird may have chosen your husband as its special human, but this may not be the case, I am trying to figure this out. What does she do with you alone or with him in the room, that is to say does the bird bite you at either of these times?

Hi, whilst im alone with her she walks all over me, eats from my hand. Doesnt bite me. Hubby refuses to come near me whilst i have her as she flys to him then bites himif i dont get out the room quick enough. On Sunday i had her in the lounge door closed just letting her walk around hubby popped his head through the door, to which she flew to me and started flapping her wings and squawking. Last night I was cleaning her cage out Fifi was in my shoulder and my son walked in the room. She squawked at him and threw her head foward as if to beak him.

From the rehome date you have had her less than a month. Fifi is really doing gootra that she has bonded to you so fast. My thoughts are that you are her safety and she just has not spread her trust to the others.
I am Myrtles human. She put her trust in me even before she really trusted me. My mother was bed ridden and wanted Myrtle to come to her which didn't happen. The first contact she had with my mother was to take the pink plastic curlers out of her hair. Mom loved it. She now trust everyone including strangers. But she will still go after my daughter unless I am not home.

One last question on this, please. Does she bite your husband when he is alone with her and out with him?

She is overly hormonal and has identified (for now) as her chosen one so, when anybody is near you, she is defending you. Was she DNA'd a female? Because attacking is more a male thing than a female one -females will bite just as bad but they don't usually fly out to attack -not that it cannot happen, only that it's not the norm. She will calm down once she stops producing sexual hormones but this will only happen if you keep her at a solar schedule which, apparently, you are not doing (you said you were cleaning her cage at night). I urge you to reconsider this as a screwed up endocrine system is not healthy or even comfortable for them (their gonads grow too much and start displacing other internal organs which is quite painful for them).

Thanks Pajarita - no shes not been dna sexed, it was what we were told by the previous owners. It was about 3.30pm that I cleaned her cage out. She is in a room where she can be woken by the sun rise (shes normally fully awake just before 7am and then once the sun starts to set she get onto her sleeping perch about 7.30pm ish and then we dont hear from her for the night) We did notice tonight when we were in the room that she was flapping her wings close to her body when hubby was there when he left she stopped. Shes also not eaten much today so I've taken her food out tonight and will see how she eats in the morning. This is so confusing just want to do things right for her but for us as well.
