Oregonian Bird Fan

Postby Sibyl » Sat Jun 20, 2015 11:46 am

Hey there. I'm a bird lover, though I own none.
I'm hoping to learn more about birds before getting one, however those sun conures are mercilessly taunting me. :< Such beautiful babies.

So yeah! I'll mostly be lurking. ;w;

Everyone love the Sun Conures, and they are truly magnificent to behold, but there are other less showy parrots that should be looked at for their wonderous personalities. All I will say at the moment is that if you are an apartment dweller then you would probably do better with a species that is not quite so loud.

Ah, yeah. I ended up being gifted a sweetheart Rosy Bourke. ;w; I was looking at Sun Conures because they were the most readily available bird in my area, aside from budgies, canaries and finches.

This was a temporary cage used for transportation. She now resides in a full sized cage. I've yet to get her any toys, as the world seems to want to stop me from doing so =w= Going to just be ordering some online, along with the rest of what she needs.
