Wolf, I understand that. This is my main source of research, however, I do look at other webpages.. more "legit" ones I guess you can call it. I do prefer looking at forums seeing how there are so many others in the world who own a parrot, so there's got to be one who's had whatever problem I have/will encounter with my own. But I do check multiple sources.

FeatherKaeru, thanks for the advice! I do have a batch of gloop in my freezer but I just haven't given him any yet. He doesn't seem to be interested in his own food right now, just the stuff from the syringe so I might have to try this out haha. However, I'm sure the formula has a little more nutrients for him than the gloop since the fruits and veggies are mostly water.

Pajarita, I know and I feel so terrible that I didn't catch this mistake myself. I thought if he were truly hungry, he would eat his own food but I guess I stuffed him up with too much water so he had no room for real food :( Before he got sick, I have seen him eat from his bowl even after hand feeding him so I figured even if I didn't fill him up, he would fill himself up after. I just didn't want to feed him so much that he would start to puke or explode because his crop would get so big and full!

No, no, this is not your fault - that falls squarely on the breeder's shoulders, my dear. It should be illegal to sell birds that young but, unfortunately, better cruelty laws have yet to be passed thanks to PIJAC and all the owners who oppose them ("My birds are well taken care of, I don't need the government looking over my shoulder and telling me how I should care for them").

I tell you, I've been doing this since 1992 and I still hit myself on the forehead every now and then and am like "Why didn't I think of that?!" Birds are hard...
