Hello!!

I haven't been on the board for so long that I think I forgot my information!!
So here it goes....I'm a mom of two birds, parakeet and CAG, two dogs, oh, and three kids! I work in the school system and am enjoying my last few days of freedom before the school year starts back up.
And yes, I'm the crazy lady that writes the mystery novels with parrots in them. My first is published and my second, with a cockatoo and a macaw as characters, will be out in a few months!

I don't know anything about a crazy lady or anyone else that writes mystery novels with parrots in them, however if you care to donate a copy, I will read it to my parrot( they don't yet know how to read) and let you know what they think.

Well, so far they have gotten pretty good at looking at pictures, They are great at devouring books, magazines and newspaper but, so far, no readers.

Funny how birds love paper! Mine just devours the phone book!!

I don't know what it is about paper, but they all seem to love tearing it up. My Grey is the biggest paper fiend followed by, and running a close race, my parrotlet Paquita.
