Hey guys, just joined this forum. I've been having a very hard time finding a parrot forum to call home. I first joined talk budgies and loved it!! But there was a particular staff member who was very rotten and I ended up having to leave. Then I joined parrot forums and it was a living hell because the members were very condescending and harsh and demeaning, and when I reported someone the mods just gave me back sarcastic and snarky replies and then put smiley faces to spite me that was one of the worst forums I have ever been to and I have mental illness and cried for 3 hours and was feeling very suicidal.

How do you guys like this forum? I have a female blue budgie, I got her 3 months ago from petsmart. She is still not playing with me but I can get her jump on my finger and ear millet now.

Welcome to the forum. I have been here since 2011. Life is a lot easier with friends to help me on this forum.
There may be times when you think something is harsh but it is usually some one throwing a response back as fast as they can.
Most of us seem to be mental. Just duck and weave.

I like it here because the members have good information to share and have been known to sit up half the night to help a member who is worried about a sick or injured bird.

We do get some complaints that some members are undiplomatic, but this tends to be because our most knowledgeable help so many people that they "cut to the chase" to give their best advice as quickly as possible. Don't take it personally. They are trying to help the birds.
