just to say hello from the uk. i rescue and have bred small parrots. i know people say they ""only budgies" but they are part of my family. :budgies - wall-e, sparky, billy, harry, eva. aggie, violet, blue and finally the smallest but with bags of attitude midget

Hey budgies are parrots too, and even if they were not, they too are important and deserve the same respect, love and care that the rest of the parrot species receive.

Welcome to the forum.
Budgies are little bitty parrots. They are smart and can interact with humans the same as the big parrots. They can talk. The only thing holding them back from being called parrots by the general public is that you have to look and pay attention real close. I believe they can do anything that any parrot can do. It just requires very close attention to see and hear it. They are also busy, happy little things.
