Tweet lost the flight feathers on his left wing. When I asked what happen they all shut up. It has been quite a while but he manages to fly down even if he has to climb up

It will take two moltings for him to regain all his tail feathers because they lose half of them in each molt. How long in terms of time depends on whether he just finished his juvenile molt or how soon he is going to go through it. But he can still fly without his tail because they mostly use it for landing so expect some rough ones at the beginning. As time goes by, he will learn to move his body, legs and feet and reduce his speed so as to compensate for the lack. But, of course, this requires practice.
