Hopefully, you currently have your new bird Tiko in quarantine as this is the normal procedure to protect your birds from the spread of diseases, In fact it is the single most effective thing that we are able to do to protect our birds, that and a visit to the vet for blood work to establish a baseline and for a wellness exam. It is much better to be safe than sorry.
