Greetings! (Newbie)

Hello everyone! My name is Morgan and I very recently just got my first ever bird. She's a cockatiel named Gracie and she's around four months old. :greycockatiel: Her birthday is on Thanksgiving, actually! ^^ A good cousin of mine is a cockatiel breeder and after much thought, I began to prepare myself to take on a bird and now I finally picked her up! For now, I'm going to be letting her settle in and talk to her throughout the week and then start getting her used to my hands, ect.

Really excited to be here!

Welcome to the forum. You are now a neighbor with a baby in this forum. We want to know all about you and your baby.

Is she socialized? Is she clipped? Do you feed her veggies? What kind of cage is she in? Can she go on a perch at your face level?

I am not trying to be dibby (well maybe a little) but bird humans especially in this forum just can't get enough of the birds. You will find that bird humans are a strange people compared to other pet owners. Loving a feathered baby "does not compute" to other kinds of pets' owners.

There is a lot of knowledge in this forum and a lot of sharing info. Ask any question and it will be answered. If the answer is not known it will be researched. There are no dumb questions. We even discuss poop.

Even though you are a new bird human you baby may be doing or saying something we have not heard so share with us.
