Hello folks. Fairly new owner of first parrot. Need advice on making natural tent. :gcc:

I am not sure what you mean by tent, but if I am correct, you are referring to something like a cozy hut for your bird. If that is right then the very best idea for this that I have heard of is to get two or three of the seagrass mats and lace them together in the form of a triangular tent with some sisal or jut or hemp twine and then hang it in the cage.

Welcome to the forum! And, yes, sisal mats (they need to be completely untreated) are your best bet.

Welcome and as Wolf says, Seagrass mats make a great natural safe hut and is a very easy material to work with. I make hut like hanging toys out of lilac branches, ropes and use natural things, and wood slabs to make a dark place for when they want a darker place to sleep ourside their cage.
