Hello and welcome to this forum!!!!
Although having your cockatoo play and eat with your cat is undoubtebly very cute, so you are aware even if they get along well it is actually a major health risk, as cat saliva contains very very harmful bacteria that is very harmful (and even deadly) to parrots.
to quote "The bacteria found in the saliva and the mouth of a mammal can cause fatal septicemia (infection in the bloodstream) of a bird in very short order. Cat bites should be considered the most dangerous, as the Pasteurella bacteria commonly found in the feline mouth, are extremely hazardous to birds.' from- http://www.exoticpetvet.net/avian/topten.html

I hope that you can find this useful.
Also not to nag, but we would all love to see picture of your little (big) baby, we love to see pictures of other peoples cutie pies  !

Hi......
My cat and bird, have separate dishes and do not touch each other. They sit and chatter together, and are always supervised by me. Thank you for welcoming me to the forum.

Welcome to the forum. Please tell me how your bird dances with your cat, it must be very humorous to see, a video would be wonderful to watch of this but it might be too soon to expect something of that nature, so even a description would work for me.

Hi Wolf,
My bird Sammie loves to dance! I tell him; left and right, back and forth. :swaying:
When he's on the carpet, my cat will watch him for hrs., the kitty tries to copy him. So sweet! They have grown up together, and my kitty knows that he is different from an outside bird. I'm not sure yet, how to post pictures on here.
