G'day from Steve, and Dusty, who is perched on his chair back watching me. It is almost dinner time, so I won't linger in here long today. Dusty likes the tv fired up at dinner time.

Yes, Dusty comes out with the occasional new phrase.
He has obviously picked it up from watching tv.
He does talk the most of any of the parrots that I have previously owned.
He also misbehaves the most of any parrot that I have owned.
If things go quiet and I an not keeping an eye on him, he will go somewhere that I don't want him to go.
I then hear him say GET OFF, and he flies back to his cage.

Yes, they do tell themselves off! I have an amazon that, whenever any bird, including herself, is being scolded for being naughty, says: "UUUUUUHHHH, too bad, too bad, too bad for you!"
