Hello There!

Postby Batman » Mon Oct 12, 2009 7:12 pm

Hi I'm from California, I am full -time college student but I love parrots! Me and my mom have always loved birds. People would always call us bird ladies haha. My mom has 3 caiques, 2 black headed caiques, 1 White bellied caique, 2 owl finches, 2 lady gouldian finches, 1 diamond dove, and 5 canaries. I had to buy another black headed caique because she hustled me into giving her because she was so tame and good around toddlers ( which is rare). My husband and birds are my current hobby. I am currently working on perfecting clicker training.

If it isn't batman, could it be birdgirl? J/K

Unless you have genetically sexed your bird I wouldn't recommend giving a highly sex based name. I think I named Kili that before the results of her DNA sex test were back and the name was gender independent. With birds its sometimes just hard to know.
