Love my inherited Amazon

Postby Hexel » Mon Aug 06, 2018 1:32 pm

Hi another newbie here. Hoping parrot folks don’t eat their young and dumb.
Here to learn how to care for JR and keep him healthy. He is 38 now and I’m his 3rd home.
Appreciate learning from those with much wisdom.

Hi, Hexel and welcome to the forum! But we need more info! What species of zon? Why do you say
'inherited'? Did it belong to a member of the family that passed away? Do you know the gender for sure? What is his/her name? Has it been recently given a complete physical [bloodwork -with bile acids- and XRays? Because all [yep, ALL of them, no exception] older zons have health issues that need to be taken into consideration... As you can see, we are terribly nosy
