hello! another newbie here....

hi,
i have been checking out the bird forums and this one looks to be the best one for me.
lots going on here and tons of helpful info.
my name is Joan and i live in PA with my 2 budgies Petey and Beaner and my little Senegal Marnie.
i have only had Marnie a little over a month now and she just had her 1st birthday on the 3rd.
she is just the cutest thing! i think i am in love
i also have 4 dogs, whippets, who are my best buds....Luke, Lexi, Ripley and Romeo. they are very good with Marnie.

ok, i am going to try to post a few picks of Marnie and her home.....





and this is her setup, its two cages linked by a plastic chain and rope. she loves it.
she is out most of the day when i am home.





these pics were taken on her birthday, May 3rd. it was the 1st time she got on my finger and let me handle her. i guess it was her present to me
silly girl....

i tried to make an Avatar
but it won't work for me. its from photobucket and i made it "tiny" but it still won't work.
so right now i will use the Amazon for a while because we had her the longest (10yrs)
she has been rehomed to a very loving family and i get updates all the time and can visit now and then. i will work on my Marnie avatar later................

thanks Michael, looks perfect! i went back and tried again with no success. it was saying the file was corrupted or something like that. so i resized the pic again and still won't go.
any tips?
i use photo bucket and just click the link below the pic but i am not sure which of the 4 links to use.
if i just use the "browse" button the photo is too big.
i'm getting frustrated....

Right click the image I made. Click save us. Save to your computer. Come back and upload it as avatar anew.

wish i could take marnie with me, i'm gonna miss that litle bird.........
just no room for her cage etc in there
