Behaviour problems

Hello My name is Sherrie and I live in NSW Australia. I have an 11 week old Rainbow Lorikeet who I believe to be a boy so his name is Beau. I got him at 8 weeks old and for the first week we had him he had a temporary cage, he was scared first coming home with us and my partner was the only one he let touch him after he had settled down. so the next week we bought him a new cage, ever since the new cage he dislikes my husband , he trys to be as far away as he can from him and bites him UNLESS he has food for him. my husband didnt do anything to him to make him act like this either so its really wierd I thought, me on the other hand his not like he used to be but he will come out to me and talks to me and plays and doesnt bite me so I take it thats a good sign but he seems to be obsessed with my acrylic nails and im not sure whether he likes me or my nails lol, I love my Beau dearly and I enjoy sharing dinner with him each night as his cage is next to the dinner table and he asks using manners "please may I" followed by a wolf whistle hehe but I just wish he liked my husband like he used to. If anyone may know why or has any suggestions i'd appreciate it. thanks
