Hello everyone!
I think I posted in the wrong area( go figure)...Anyways I am the proud pet of 2 Senegals....lol....Widget 3 yrs old and Pip-Squeak 4 mths old....both of them rescues ...Love the site and forums....

Pippa was a cast out of the nest ...and had her back toe/claw amputated by one of her parents...and the breeder had no time to take care of her so her handed her over to another breeder who raises African greys...and there again she was not a right fit....soooooo they posted on Kijiji Canada and I called ,went there that afternoon and payed an adoption/rescue fee and Miss Pippa has a forever home! she had a hard time at first she was only fed twice a day(lord knows why)....so I put her on a 2-4 hour feeding syringe(parrot pablum) at first with between time of cheerios and fruit/veg/little pellets and all the snuggles she wanted! She still to this day loves to snuggle and go inside my any pocket available and any expose skin and sleep....lol...kept her warm that way when she was weaker. Her name came about when she would poke her head out and squeak for food....lol she is very much a mama's bird and of course Widget the other rescue is a tad beak out of joint he had mama first....so my days are very full......

Both your Sennies are adorable!
How wonderful of you to provide a great home for these birds. Pippa's story kind of reminds me of Shade's (my Senegal) and her brother's.
