New Member and new bird owner

Hello everyone, new to your forum. I have had my Half-moon Conure, Zebadiah, for a week now and he is still getting used to his new environment. It seems like he dislikes me more everyday, is this common? He is about 8 months old and never been out of the pet store environment before I got him last week. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. I've been a member here just over a month but have only just bought my parrot "Roger" home yesterday so I understand the excitement you are going through. How about uploading photos of your feathered friend so we can see it.
dpbarber, this forum is a great resource so I'm sure you'll eventually get your parrot to like you through love and interactions with him and from helpful advise from the members of this forum. Good luck.
