Hi! Love this place! :P

Hello everyone,

My name is Heather, I'm from Canada, and I am a first time bird owner/slave! I just brought my peach-faced lovie (seagreen mutation) home about two weeks ago, and am amazed at the HUGE personality she has... It's all I can do to keep up!

Because I know next to nothing abut training, I'm looking forward to reading up on the forums. I'm sure I will have a million questions!

ahaha....

I'm from the East Coast....aboot is more an Ontario thing

Actually, I do have a funny story about my accent. When I brought my bird home, I put him in the living room, and said to my father, who was gearing up for supper "While he's here can you not cook with the nonstick frying pan?" and about five minutes later...Dad just stopped and said "Did you name that bird WALLY!?"

hahaha

I actually named her Penelope! Since lovebirds don't usually talk I didn't have to choose an easy one like Wally :P

I'll definitely post some pictures once I actually take some. I'm bad for not taking pictures!

Thanks for the welcomes guys!
