I bought my sennie in April he was hatched on the 10 Jan 2010 and was hand reared by a man.
Shaky start when I went to pick him up I put my hand in his cage and he nearly had my little finger off.lol
Took him home and put him in his cage and spent about two hours talking to him and giving him treats,then let him out he had a fly around sat on the top of his cage,I put my arm out called him and he flew straight over and landed on my arm.From then on he was my little buddy.He did mouth a lot the first few days.Now its the occasional nip if I surprise him by touching him when he doesnt know its coming,and the odd bite when he can't have his own way.LOL
He started talking when he was about four months old, he started saying hello now says whatyadoing,two minutes,and his name when I am eating and he wants to share.
He is such an active little bird inspite of coming out to play three times a day,never plays on the play stand or with the toys I bought,always wants my glasses/hair slides and to walk around my arms or sit on my shoulder.
